Los Angeles-based Pipeline Health expanded into the Texas market by acquiring 22 freestanding emergency rooms, The Dallas News reports.

1. Pipeline Health will own the ERs in partnership with Lewisville, Texas-based Adeptus Health.
2. The ERs will be converted into outpatient emergency departments and rebranded City Hospital Emergency Care.
