Tampa, Fla.-based Physician Partners of America plans to open the first phase of its medical pavilion in Orlando, Fla., Aug. 13.
Here's what you should know:
1. Taufiq Ahmed, MD, and his staff will move into the campus.
2. The pavilion will be completed in January 2019.
3. Once complete, the pavilion will tout an outpatient surgery center. Physicians will perform pain management, orthopedics, general surgery, neurosurgery, ENT and gastroenterology procedures out of the center.
4. PPA COO Josh Helms said, "Medical pavilions are the wave of the future, and Physician Partners of America is ahead of the trend. With the opening of the Orlando Medical Pavilion, we aim to provide expert care and convenience for Central Floridians."
