Vision Innovation Partners acquired Washington, D.C.-based Washington Eye Specialists, expanding its presence in the Mid-Atlantic region.

1. Washington Eye Specialists' Ted Gancayco, MD, and Cameron Ghafouri, MD, led the partnership efforts from the practice's side. They'll remain with the practice.
2. The physicians ran the practice for more than 25 years. They lauded Vision Innovation Partners, saying, "Vision Innovation Partners has a strong reputation for clinical excellence across the Mid-Atlantic region and we are delighted to benefit from the shared resources of a fully integrated ophthalmology platform."
3. This is Vision Innovation Partners' ninth partnership since it was formed two years ago.
