Clemmons, N.C.-based Wake Forest Baptist Surgery Center sold its real estate, according to a Triad Business Journal report.
Here are four things to know:
1. Healthcare Reality Solutions plans to purchase the 12,500-squre-foot space that includes Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center's surgery center.
2. NorthMarq Capital, a commercial real estate mortgage banking firm, provided funding for the deal, which financed at more than $5.7 million.
3. The surgery center opened in December 2017 in partnership with Surgical Care Affiliates. The facility includes three operating rooms and focuses on gynecology, orthopedics, ENT, plastic surgery and general surgery.
4. Construction of the building took 10 months and it cost $8.1 million, according to the health system's press release.
