Montecito Medical acquired a 31,775-square-foot medical office building with an ASC in Willmar, Minn.
Here are four details:
1. The two-story building serves as the flagship facility for both Fischer Laser Eye Center and Janning Ear, Nose and Throat Center. It was built in 2005.
2. Fischer occupies 75 percent of the building and features a nearly 8,000-square-foot ASC offering LASIK, cataract, cornea and refractive procedures. Fischer has six other locations in central Minnesota, and all of the practice's patients who need surgery go to the ASC for surgical procedures.
3. Janning ENT occupies the remaining 25 percent of the medical office building. Janning ENT has satellite offices at several hospitals in central Minnesota.
4. The transaction marks Montecito Medical's 15th medical office acquisition in 2018 and the company's first Minnesota acquisition.
