Montecito Medical acquired Murfreesboro (Tenn.) Medical Properties' medical office building, which houses an ASC and a radiology department.
What you should know:
1. Montecito Medical acquired the 221,000-square-foot building from a group of physician investors.
2. The building is 100 percent leased to Murfreesboro Medical Clinic.
3. More than 80 physicians and 600-plus employees work out of the building.
4. Murfreesboro Medical Clinic CEO Joseph Peay said he started receiving investor bids to purchase the building in 2007. Leadership decided to sell the building in 2018.
5. MMC will remain in the building for the foreseeable future through a long-term lease.
