Buffalo, N.Y.-based Kaleida Health is putting a hospital tower up for sale in response to declining use, The Buffalo News reports.
Three things to know:
1. The five-story tower is part of DeGraff Memorial Hospital in North Tonawanda, N.Y.
2. Moving forward, Kaleida's plans for the campus will focus on emergency care, related ancillary services and primary care.
3. DeGraff's inpatient admissions have fallen 33 percent since 2012. Its outpatient and inpatient surgery volumes have dropped 54 percent and 63 percent, respectively.
