Here are 12 updates on ASC companies and industry-relevant companies to note: 

A federal judge ruled against the 2019 Medicare Outpatient Prospective Payment System final rule's site-neutral payment policy that reduced Medicare payments for off-campus clinic visits. Read more. 

MUVE Health has created an advisory board of five orthopedic surgeons amid its recent period of growth.

Brentwood, Tenn.-based Surgery Partners completed its new ASC in St. Charles, Ill.

Hackensack (N.J.) Meridian Health and Addison, Texas-based United Surgical Partners International entered into a joint venture partnership with Vanguard Surgical Center.

Charlottesville, Va.-based Anchor Health Properties acquired three medical office buildings and the rights for a fourth in the greater Atlanta metropolitan area. 

Schenectady, N.Y.-based Ellis Medicine abandoned plans to build an ASC on 11 acres of land in Clifton Park, N.J., but it's still planning future expansion at the property. 

Lehigh Valley Health Network plans to acquire the assets of Coordinated Health, pending regulatory approval. Both health systems are based in Allentown, Pa. 

Kingsport, Tenn.-based Holston Medical Group partnered with Bristol, Tenn.-based Renaissance Surgery Center to reopen a surgery center.

UPMC absorbed York, Pa.-based Leader Surgical Associates' surgeons and employees Sept. 9.

Ashland (Wis.) Memorial Medical Center is expanding its ASC, with the project set to break ground Oct. 14.

The Surgery Center of Farmington (Mo.) is celebrating its 20-year anniversary Sept. 27.

The Surgery Center of Fairbanks (Alaska) appointed Keli Hite McGee as the ASC's new administrator, effective Oct. 7.
