Des Moines, Iowa-based Wolfe Eye Clinic acquired Children's Eye Clinic of West Des Moines to better serve children in central Iowa.
What you should know:
1. Children's Eye Clinic's Jean Spencer, MD, and Sara Olson, OD, will join Wolfe Eye Clinic as a result of the acquisition.
2. Drs. Spencer and Olson will continue seeing patients at the practice's current office through 2019.
3. Dr. Spencer founded Children's Eye Clinic in 1990. She brought Dr. Olson on board in 2010.
Wolfe Eye Clinic CEO Kevin Swartz said, "The combining of these pediatric eye specialists' clinics will allow better access for children and their families to receive care for ophthalmic disorders."
