A team of physicians wants to build a four- to six-suite surgery center in Aurora, Ill., on the campus of a former hospital, the Chicago Tribune reports.

1. The physicians applied for a certificate of need from the state to build their surgery center on the former Copley Hospital campus.

3. The physicians did not reveal any other details on the surgery center.

4. The surgery center is part of a larger redevelopment project for the former campus. A school administration building, an urgent care and an independent living community are also proposed for the site.
