Four details:
1. The surgery center opened at Hartford HealthCare-owned Bradley Memorial Hospital in 2014, replacing four general operating rooms. The center is a joint venture by surgeons and Hartford HealthCare.
2. In late January, the Cheshire Town Council approved incentives for the relocation.
3. Hartford HealthCare spent $1.8 million on medical equipment for the center and $2.2 million on building renovations at Bradley Memorial Hospital, according to the system's certificate-of-need request.
4. Hospital administrators plan to work with physician partners and community members to determine a use for the former surgery center space.
