Global Medical REIT purchased three medical office buildings in Chandler, Ariz., and Gilbert, Ariz., for $16.1 million from a local gastroenterology practice, Rebusiness Online reports.
What you should know:
1. Global Medical REIT acquired 39,305 square feet in the transaction.
2. The buildings house two endoscopy centers. One center is a joint venture between San Francisco-based Dignity Health and Addison, Texas-based United Surgical Partners International.
3. The gastroenterology practices will continue to operate out of the buildings after the sale closes.
