Envision, UnitedHealthcare agree to extend payer contract & more — 7 ASC company key notes

Here are seven updates on ASC companies and industry-relevant companies to note:

Following months of termination threats and legal disputes between the two companies, Minnetonka, Minn.-based UnitedHealthcare agreed to extend its nationwide payer contract with Nashville, Tenn.-based Envision (AmSurg) Healthcare. Read more.

Addison, Texas-based United Surgical Partners International plans to build an outpatient surgery center in Citrus Heights, Calif.
