The Illinois Health Facilities and Services Review Board has granted Naser Rustom, MD, approval for an outpatient surgery center in Orland Park, according to a Crain's Chicago Business report.
Dr. Rustom originally proposed the surgery center as a facility catering to the Islamic faith, but reworked the proposal to drop all references to Islamic law after the board issued a preliminary denial.
