Lubbock, Texas-based Covenant Health is building a development that will house a short-stay, outpatient surgical hospital, the Lubbock Avalanche-Journal reports.
What you should know:
1. The hospital will have 48 beds and 10 operating rooms.
2. Administrators believe the entire campus will take two years to build.
3. In addition to the healthcare facilities, the campus could also offer space for recreational events like concerts, health fairs and other events.
