Fleming Island, Fla.-based Baptist Clay Medical Center is in the midst of constructing a 17,000-square-foot surgery center on Fleming Island, The Florida Times-Union reports.
Here's what you should know.
1. The new surgery center costs $11.7 million.
2. The center will feature two operating suites, nine private patient rooms and a high-tech sterilization center.
3. The center also has a procedural suite.
4. The center will encompass many specialties, including gastroenterology and urology.
5. Officials expect the center to open this fall.
