Beloit (Wis.) Health System made a $15.27 million investment in an ambulatory surgery center at its NorthPointe Health and Wellness Campus in Roscoe, Ill., according to Beloit Daily News.
Here are five things to know:
1. Beloit Health System expects the ASC to begin accepting patients in nearly 10 months.
2. The health system held a groundbreaking ceremony in April.
3. The ASC is 30,939 square feet.
4. In June, the Illinois Health Facilities Review Board approved the ASC.
5. Equipped with two operating rooms and two procedures rooms, the ASC will offer orthopedic, ophthalmology and gastroenterology procedures.
