Lake Health in Concord Township, Ohio, has opened its Bariatric Surgery Center, and bariatric surgeon Aviv Ben-Meir, MD, will lead the surgical team, according to a Cleveland Plain-Dealer report.
Center personnel will offer a full range of bariatric services, including physical and psychological pre-operative evaluations, free support groups and post-operative nutrition counseling. Lifelong follow-ups will also help patients maintain their results.
Initially, surgeries will be performed at TriPoint Medical Center in Willoughby, Ohio.
