Baltimore's LifeBridge Health acquires 2 surgery centers: 3 key notes

LifeBridge Health in Baltimore acquired the Owings Mills, Md.-based SurgiCenter of Baltimore and the Ellicott City (Md.) Ambulatory Surgery Center, The Baltimore Sun reports.

Here's what you need to know.

1. The acquired centers will continue to see and accept patients.

2. The Owings Mills center specializes in plastic surgery, pain management, ear, nose and throat and ophthalmology. Elliot City's center focuses on orthopedics.

3. LifeBridge operates Sinai Hospital in Baltimore and several other hospitals and medical centers in its portfolio.
