Alexandria (Minn.) Eye Clinic is partnering with Sioux Falls, S.D.-based Vance Thompson Vision after serving the Minnesota area independently for more than 43 years, effective Sept. 3.
Here's what you should know:
1. As a result of the partnership, ophthalmlologist Debby Ristvedt, MD, and her team will gain access to workflows, technology and clinic support.
2. Dr. Ristvedt said, "By joining Vance Thompson Vision, we are able to bring together our close, personal connection to the people of the region with the latest technology innovations, patient experience workflows and programs for collaboration with the region's optometrists. It's a win-win for our patients; a local team of professionals supported by a nationally recognized surgical and patient experience program."
3. Alexandria Eye Clinic is in the midst of building a new surgery center, which will be operational in 2019.
4. Vance Thompson, MD, of Vance Thompson Vision, said, "We're thrilled to bring Dr. Ristvedt and the team at Alexandria Eye Clinic into our family.
