The ASC will have four operating suites, pre-op facilities and post-op recovery areas. The ASC will be called the Claire C. Brodesser Surgery Center, named after the wife of Thomas Brodesser Jr., who donated $2 million to help fund the center’s construction.
Joanne Carrocino, president and CEO of Cape Regional Hospital, told the Press of Atlantic City the ASC opening marks the first major expansion to the hospital’s campus “in a long time.”
