Study: Caution Needed on Dual Eligible Care Coordination Policies

Policies on care coordination for Medicare and Medicaid dual eligibles should be implemented with caution, as states have little experience managing care for this patient population, according to a study in Health Affairs.

The authors studied public data on how services are provided to dual eligibles receiving benefits from both programs.
