Rothman Institute at Jefferson in Philadelphia recently hosted the International Consensus Meeting for Prosthetic Joint Infection.
There were more than 300 orthopedic and infections disease experts representing 54 different countries at the meeting. Attendees devised guidance for treating patients with prosthetic joint infection, compiling available literature and research as a reference for physicians.
