Hospital Sisters Health Employees Must Choose Mask or Flu Shot

All employees of Hospital Sisters Health System, based in Springfield, Ill., are now required to receive flu vaccination by Oct. 15, according to a health system release.

HSHS, which has 13 hospitals in Illinois and Wisconsin, had previously recommended employees receive flu vaccination and achieved immunization rates between 60-70 percent. The health system is now requiring all employees to receive the vaccine. HSHS hospitals will offer free flu vaccine clinics for staff, volunteers and physicians.
