Demand for Infection Control Services, Products to Rise 5.1% Through 2015

U.S. demand for infection prevention products and services is forecasted to increase 5.1 percent annually to $21.4 billion in 2015, according to a Reportlinker release.

This growth is primarily driven by healthcare providers' increased efforts to reduce the incidence and mortality of healthcare-associated infections. Disinfectant products and services are expected to be the fastest-growing segment and will register demand of nearly $2 billion in 2015, up 4.9 percent annually from 2010.
