CDC Calls for Action to Prevent Spread of CRE

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention announced that healthcare facilities need to take action to prevent the spread of a deadly form of antibiotic-resistant bacteria.

Enterobacteriaceae are a family of bacteria, some of which have grown resistant to a group of antibiotics called carbapenems, or last-resort antibiotics.
