Bedford Laboratories has issued a voluntary recall for a single lot of its 'Vecuronium Bromide for injection' product, according to an FDA news release.
Vecuronium Bromide is indicated as an adjunct to general anesthesia to facilitate endotracheal intubation and to provide skeletal muscle relaxation during surgery or mechanical ventilation.
Bedford Laboratories issued the recall after discovering "particulate matter" that could lead to adverse reactions, including irritation, severe pulmonary dysfunction and death. The recall only applies to lot 2067134. No other lots are subject to this voluntary recall.
