Here's what you should know:
1. The partnership is meant to boost University of Kentucky's outpatient oncology services and give Lexington Clinic patients access to higher-level care at the Markey Cancer Center in Lexington.
2. UK will also have a new patient base for clinical research trials.
3. The partners entered a 90-day due diligence period to develop payment details.
4. UK Executive Vice President of Health Affairs Mark Newman said, "We're excited about this. This gives our patients access to more locations and makes it easier for them to be seen."
