Vendors and providers view cybersecurity, privacy and security as top priorities, according to the 2019 HIMSS U.S. Leadership and Workforce Survey.
HIMSS surveyed 269 U.S. health information and technology leaders between late November 2018 and early January 2019.
Here is how hospitals and non-acute providers ranked priorities (on a one-to-seven scale, one meaning "not a priority," 7 meaning "essential priority"):
