Christ Hospital weighs options after ASC plans crumble, city to proceed with plans
Cincinnati-based Christ Hospital continues "to explore how to bring more healthcare options to the residents of Northern Kentucky," a hospital spokesman told the Cincinnati Enquirer after a court rejected the provider's plans for an ASC.

Walla Walla seeks community input on ambulatory expansions
Walla Walla (Wash.) Clinic and Walla Walla-based Providence St. Mary Medical Center requested certificates of need to expand their ambulatory surgery services, and residents have a say in the matter. A public hearing for community input on the requests is scheduled for Aug. 20. A decision on how to proceed will be issued Oct. 19.

Aurora Health Care buys $14.5M plot for planned ASC, office building
Milwaukee-based Aurora Health Care purchased 63 acres for an ASC and physician office building development in Pleasant Prairie, Wis. Aurora acquired the property for $14.5 million.

PE firm acquires Collect Rx
Private equity firm New Capital Partners acquired revenue cycle management company Collect Rx. Collect Rx provides revenue cycle management services to more than 800 surgery centers, hospitals, physician-owned practices and other healthcare facilities. The company uses a business intelligence engine to analyze claims for increased reimbursements and has a focus on out-of-network expertise.
