Hawaii is the state with the highest life expectancy, while Mississippi has the lowest, according to personal finance site WalletHub.
In a report released Jan. 22, WalletHub determined the best and worst states to retire. The site compared the 50 states across three metrics: affordability, quality of life and healthcare. These dimensions were evaluated using 46 relevant metrics, including adjusted cost of living, risk of social isolation and family medicine physicians per capita. Read more about the methodology here.
