4. Primary care specialties represented 46.8% of all positions offered in this year's match.
5. For emergency medicine, 2,891 positions were filled for 2024, an increase of 13.9 percentage points from 2023.
6. Just six OB-GYN positions went unfilled.
7. For this year's match, 2,562 positions went unfilled. This is a decrease of 123 positions from 2023.
