Arnaldo Valedon, MD, is a managing partner of First Colonies Anesthesia Associates in Baltimore, an anesthesia provider that includes more than 120 board-certified anesthesiologists. The group was formed in 2004 and has grown rapidly since its inception. In addition to his clinical services with FCAA, Dr. Valedon served as the former chief of FCAA's ambulatory division.
Dr. Valedon is also a diplomate of the American Board of Anesthesiology and currently serves on the ASC Association's program committee and the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care's board of directors.
Dr. Valedon earned his medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine and went on to complete an internship in internal medicine at Cooper Hospital-University School of Medicine and Dentistry in Camden, N.J., and a residency in anesthesiology at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. His other specialty training includes a fellowship in anesthesia and critical care medicine at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.
