The majority of small business owners worry about rising healthcare costs, according to a Los Angeles Business report and a 2012 survey by Small Business California.
Eighty-seven percent of over 1,000 small business owners who responded to the survey said the economy should be a high priority this year. Eighty-three percent named healthcare as a top priority.
While most employers said the rising cost of healthcare concerns them, only 25 percent knew about a small business tax credit to offset the cost of benefits, or the healthcare insurance exchanges coming in 2014 that will help them shop for insurance.
