President Obama's Reelection Signals Insurers to Comply With Exchange Requirements

President Barack Obama's reelection will now prompt insurers to expedite preparations to achieve compliance with state exchange requirements as directed by the Affordable Care Act, according to hCentive, a healthcare exchange technology company.

The ACA requires states to implement health exchanges by Jan. 1, 2014. hCentive recommends functional integrations by June 2013 in advance of the Oct. 1, 2012 open enrollment. The president's reelection solidified that requirements will remain in place.

The company's WebInsure Exchange Master platform aims to effectively integrate private health plans with ACA-mandated state exchanges.
