Issues related to health services were among Colorado's top 10 consumer complaints and inquiries in 2018, according to Colorado Attorney General Phil Weiser.
What you should know:
1. Of the 9,110 complaints and inquiries filed with the Consumer Protection Section of the Office of the Attorney General, 223 were related to health and medical facilities and services.
2. Health complaints included those about medical facilities, medical billing and quality of care issues.
3. Medical-related filings ranked ninth on the list of top complaints. Complaints about fraudulent or unwanted telephone calls, agency collections and contractors took the top three spots.
