Atlanta-based Ingenious Med will now support outpatient charge captures in addition to the inpatient technology it already provides.
Currently, the inpatient capture and coding system is in use by 22,000 clients in 30 specialties, according to the release. The addition of outpatient capabilities will expand the product's offerings in anticipation of revenue cycle changes, such as ICD-10.
In addition to providing electronic billing workflow support, Ingenious Med's revenue cycle software platform allows healthcare providers to create customizable Superbills and provides a scheduling interface, according to the release.
