• Approximately 50 percent have completed impact assessments
• 40 percent are unsure when they will complete impact assessments or if they will complete them at all
• 35 percent have begun external testing
• More than 50 percent do not plan to being external testing before 2015
Vendors
• 10 percent are at most halfway done with ICD-10 product development
• 66 percent already have updated software available
• 25 percent will not have updated software available until 2015
Payers
• Nearly 75 percent of payers have completed impact assessments
• More than 50 percent of payers have begun external testing
• 75 percent of payers have begun internal testing
