Watertown, Mass.-based Athenahealth is buying Boston-based Healthcare Data Services, according to CBS Money Watch.
Athenahealth, a medical billing and records software maker, looks to expand its services for healthcare providers through the acquisition.
The buyout is expected to close in October.
