Sea Girt, N.J.-based startup company Advance Response has formed to provide follow-up billing support to medical practices as everyone prepares for their ICD-10 implementation, according to Med City News.
Of the 3 billion claims submitted annually, 600 million require follow-up, according to the article. Advance Response is looking to provide qualified experts to do follow-up billing, which hospitals tend to give away to under qualified companies, said CEO Ken Poray.
