Downer's Grove, Ill.-based debt collector Optimum Outcomes announced it will acquire Patient Financial Solutions and Absolute Collection Service, businesses that work with account resolution and revenue cycle management, according to insideARM.com.
Raleigh, N.C.-based ACS provides its largely hospital clients with services such as self-pay billing and account resolution, aged receivables and data warehousing services.
Optimum Outcomes CEO Mike Jacoutot said he hopes the acquisition will solidify his company's standing as a leader in debt collection and account resolution.
ACS currently has 275 employees and a strong client base in the southeast United States. Together, Optimum Outcomes will now serve more than 300 clients with 500 employees in three contact centers.
