AAPC Column Outlines 2011 CPT Changes to ENT Procedures

The AAPC has published a column analyzing the many changes made to ENT procedures in CPT 2011.

 

Procedures addressed the article include endoscopic dilation of the sinus ostia, endoscopic bronchopleural fistula occlusion, injection for sialorrhea and labyrinthotomy.

 

The column also discusses the addition of category III codes to describe automated audiometry tests and the clarification of vestibular function test combo confusion.
