2. Children's is the only hospital system in Minnesota to earn level 1 verification. Only 13 systems in the nation have such a verification.
3. Children's CEO and President Marc Gorelick said, "This is the highest level of distinction for health systems that perform complex surgical procedures in newborns, children and teens. Achieving this verification means we've met national quality and safety standards for surgery and 30-days of post surgery care."
