The Kailua, Hawaii-based Windward Surgery Center is a joint venture between Surgical Care Affiliates, Castle Medical Center and local physicians.
Three things to know about the center:
1. The ASC has 29 physicians on staff who specialize in gastroenterology, orthopedics and podiatry, among others.
2. The Windward Surgery Center is accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care.
3. The center has two operating rooms and two endoscopy rooms.
