Tufts Medical Center in Boston has gone live with Plexus Information Systems' Anesthesia Touch, an anesthesia information management system that automates the anesthesia documentation process.
The system aims at improving workflow processes, enhancing patient safety and increasing mobility for anesthesia providers.
"It was extremely important for us to have a customizable AIMS system with an intuitive and clinician-friendly user interface to suit the diverse needs of an academic medical center," said Scott Segal, MD, anesthesiologist-in-chief at the medical center.
