The University of Alabama at Birmingham this month appointed Jack Crawford, MD, PhD, assistant professor in the department of anesthesiology.
Dr. Crawford will work in pediatric cardiac anesthesia and on the department's liver transplant team. He received his medical degree and PhD in cellular and molecular pathology from UAB, where he also completed his anesthesiology residency. Dr. Crawford recently completed a pediatric congenital cardiac anesthesia fellowship at Boston Children's Hospital.
