North American Partners in Anesthesia has launched a patient advocate center of excellence to deliver customer service to patients navigating anesthesia billing.
The new service aims to simplify the patient process and deliver clarity and confidence for patients as they deal with financial billing, according to an Oct. 9 press release.
The new support team will provide assistance to patients regarding billing questions, insurance coverage and financial adjustments. It will also securely manage bills in collaboration with Cedar, a healthcare financial solutions platform, analyze trends and auditing processes to resolve refund requests, and collaborate with clinical teams.
