Anesthesiologists Key to Hospital Efficiency, Profits

Effective partnerships between anesthesia departments and hospitals will improve physician communication and accountability, which directly correlates with health system profits and quality of care, according to Health Leaders Media.

These initiatives include having anesthesiology leaders coordinate scheduling changes so they can make sure the OR is being used and empty suites are reduced.
