Rebecca Patchin, MD, has been appointed as chair of the Board of Commissioners for the Joint Commission in 2013.
Dr. Patchin is an anesthesiologist and pain management specialist in Riverside, Calif. She has been on the board since 2007 as a representative of the American Medical Association.
Oklahoma Hospital Association President Craig Jones will serve as the vice chair.
