Anesthesia Business Consultants of Jackson, Mich., as agreed to resell the DR Systems cloud-based ambulatory electronic health records, according to Market Watch.
The EHR will be marketed by ABC as F1RSTUse. The product launch was timed to coincide with anesthesiologists and pain management specialists' approaching deadline for meaningful use requirements.
F1RSTUse was also designed to not require any additional purchases for anesthesiologists or their practices. To meet the meaningful use requirements, practices need to collect information on each patient and send the information to ABC, which enters it into F1RSTUse. ABC is only compensated after practices receive payment from the government.
